Why?

Agreed that the contradictio between the two clauses is merely poetic license, why do you need to drive a reductio ad absurdum?

Unless, of course, you do it on purpose, as a means for your writing… oh gotcha! You don’t really need me to reply, right?

Can you talk about politics instead, or the state of economy, society, etc…? I’d rather be learning about that instead of philosophising. As you know I struggle mentally to read or analyse the news and besides, guys who read the newspaper everyday are attractive :)
