I quit drinking alcohol regularly a year ago. I wasn’t a drunk or drinking too much, but there was the regular beer or glass of wine (or two) with dinner, this became a routine during lockdown after I ended up working from home full time (as I still do Today) to «disconnect» or to «take the edge off».
This was accumulating and impacting my health, mood and energy levels so I just stopped and instead tried to drink more water and herbal teas and to take more care of myself in general and it has really made a difference in my life.
