I haven’t arrived yet to the part where he’s an actual royalist and not someone with a hidden agenda that just plays the part to trick the brethren into doing magic and producing a dragon, but thanks for the spoiler…
And yes, it reminded me of you not because of what the the character does or who he is (again, just read the first pages of the book) but because of the way Pratchett describes his conniving thoughts and the way he addresses the members of the brethren in his imagination… similar language and sense of humour that you use with your closest readers… ;)
